Caitlin Knichek - Veterinary Assistant / Student Veterinary Technician

Caitlin is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She has worked at Crossroads since September of 2024, but has been in vet med since 2017.

Caitlin attended Purdue University (Boiler Up!) for 2 years and is currently working on her Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the impact that she can make on an animal’s life – big or small. It is not only the life-saving medical treatment that can change a pet’s life for the better.

Caitlin has been married since 2023 and currently has 3 Siberian Huskies (Han Solo, Zima, and Falcon) and a FIV+ kitty named Mumford. When she is not working (or doing schoolwork) you can find her walking her dogs, spending money in a garden center, or relaxing on the Lake Michigan shore.
